Yesterday, the Billionaire Richard Branson, Founder of Virgin Group flew to Space in the first of many to come privately developed Space flights.

In an interview prior the trip with CNN, he acknowledged he had delayed his excitement about this project for 17 years.

That’s how long it took the Virgin Galactic VSS Unity project to come to fruition.

Being the world’s first privately commissioned space project, Richard deserved to be excited from day one.

But to dream and start work is not enough for him. He stayed on track, continued working on his vision almost two decades – and never got excited and forgot the vision.

Whilst others like Jeff Bezos (with his Blue Origin) joined in similar development, he never saw that as competition – and never responded by changing his plan and vision.

So, when you dream and starts work, don’t let the excitement take away your commitment, focus and energies.

Delay the excitement till the appropriate time when the vision is realized.

Keep working, keep grinding. The time to celebrate is coming.
