Relative to highly specialized professional work/duties, “experience” may not be everything.
To say one is “experience” simply means he/she has attained some proficiency in designated work following a repetitive cycle of doing things.
Yes, experience ensures the ease of work but highly limited in respect of innovation – new ideas.
“This is how it’s done” is usually the catch phrase of the experienced person. But that way of doing things could not be the most effective and efficient way.
So when you desire work in an effective and efficient ways in today’s fast changing world, don’t just count on experience.
Bring on board persons with the character to challenge the status quo, drive change (positive) and innovate.
Sometimes, experience matters but it shouldn’t be a mandatory requirement.
