WE CAN DO THE SAME THING AND STILL BE DIFFERENT

Yes! We may have learnt the same craft and doing the same thing.

Even that, you can be different. You can be unique preaching the gospel as all pastors do, teaching as all teachers do or driving as all drivers do.

And you will not be unique because you have acquired the skills of getting things done. You will be different only for how you get things done.

That which makes you different and sets you apart are your soft skills – the extra hours you commit to solving a problem, the values you exhibit, the manner in which you communicate with others, how you lead, how you manage your time and exercise emotional intelligence among others make you grand.

So it’s not enough to be a doctor or a nurse helping the sick. To be exceptional and distinct with applause demands more than the hard skills.

You aren’t the first banker neither will you be the last. But we can remember or celebrate you for being different if you do more than just being a banker.

Be different even if doing the same thing.
